Encryption Plus Management Console PC Guardian's Encryption Plus Management Console (EP Management Console) is a Web services-based console that provides real-time centralized management and auditing access to administrators of EP Hard Disk 7.0.23 and above. It provides remote administrative control over user password settings, Single Sign-On, account expiration, and more. The software can also be used for remote administrative recovery. By using EP Management Console, an administrator gains the ability to manage, monitor, and control an organization's security policies and its entire base of EP Hard Disk users from a single location. Future versions of the EP Management Console will provide similar centralized management and auditing services to administrators of other PC Guardian software products, including EP Email, EP Secure Export, and EP Folders. Encryption Plus® Hard Disk Encryption Plus® Hard Disk provides 100% protection of the Windows operating system, programs, and data stored on enterprise computers while denying unauthorized users access to networks. This simple-to-use product encrypts every sector of a computer's hard drive, transparently and automatically decrypting and re-encrypting data files as needed. In addition, before the Windows operating system loads into memory, Encryption Plus Hard Disk requires users to enter a correct password. Fail to enter a correct password and Encryption Plus Hard Disk will not allow the Windows operating system to load. Encryption Plus Hard Disk provides numerous benefits. It is a powerful enterprise tool that scales easily and allows authorized administrators the ability to remotely implement and manage security policy as well as add, update, or terminate user accounts. Easy to configure, simple to deploy, and easy to maintain, Encryption Plus Hard Disk offers the lowest total cost of ownership of any competing product. It runs on Windows NT/2000/XP. Encryption Plus Email Encryption Plus Email 3.0 is an enterprise email data protection solution designed for large organizations that need the benefits of email security without the hassles and cost of PKI-based solutions. It features centralized administrative capabilities — including administrative key recovery, strong password management controls, and the ability to control user program settings — as well as a simple, peer-to-peer method of key exchange. Encryption Plus Email 3.0 uses a FIPS 140-2 compliant AES algorithm with a 256-bit symmetric key to encrypt and decrypt messages and attachments. A strong 233-bit Elliptic Curve Cryptography public-private key algorithm, in turn, protects the symmetric key as it travels with the encrypted message. Among program users, encryption and decryption takes place on-the-fly after a simple public key exchange. Yet the program does not require key servers, Certificate Authorities, Registration Authorities, a "web of trust", or other resource-intensive elements of a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). Key exchange, storage, and management take place on the individual workstations, subject to configuration parameters set by the administrator. Recipients who do not have the software can decrypt protected messages as well. All they need is the password, which the sender provides out-of-band, and a computer running Windows. Encryption Plus Email 3.0 delivers fast, easy, and pervasive email encryption services that can be quickly deployed by large organizations at minimal expense. Encryption Plus Secure Export Encryption Plus Secure Export 5.0 compresses, encrypts, and bundles one or more files into a single secure file package, which can be sent to anyone. When received by another Encryption Plus Secure Export 5.0 user, the package will decrypt automatically and transparently using public-private key technology. If the secure file package is sent to a non-Encryption Plus Secure Export 5.0 user, the recipient needs a password to decrypt the data. |
