Optimised protection

iChecker™, the latest intelligent technology from Kaspersky Labs, ensures superior performance, as not all files have to be scanned for viruses. Scanning is limited to those files which have changed since the preceding scan. The checksum of all scanned and uninfected files is stored in a special database, and scanning is only carried out if information from a prior scan is not found.

Virus detection in compressed files

The program automatically scans the contents of all archived and compressed files. Scanning technology enables the program to detect viruses in more than 700 widely used formats. Additionally malicious code can be deleted in compressed infected files and ZIP format files can be treated.
